Hi there,
my wee car failed its WOF :uhoh so i need to have a couple of wee repairs done to get it to pass. any recommendations for a mechanic?

bumping this up to ask the same question for the same reason!
specifically it needs some cracked suspension system parts replaced.

the mechanic i ended up using was WONDERFUL! initial phone call was really positive, made me feel comfortable to leave my car in his hands and didnt talk down to me cause i was a girl (which other places i got quotes off did, i mightn't be clued up totally on cars but i know enough to get me by). one problem with the car couldnt be diagnosed until it was winched up, so he said he'd call me if he had to do any extra work (which there was) and gave me different pricing options with regards to the work. decent guy and my car passed its WOF.

thank you!! We called & got an appointment with him for next week.
And to do my part, I had a good experience with Alan Harvie Panelbeaters in Welly. They did a good job of fixing the back of my car & replacing the bumper when I got hit. I don't know if their prices are good since insurance covered it, luckily!
