Sorry just another question. Should we wait for my husband's residence visa to come through and organise it on this end (Italy) or do it from NZ. Can someone give some solid advice on what the best options would be and also how long it took for one of you to get yours.

Also should we wait to book tickets home until he gets his residency?

I know silly questions but need someone's advice based on experience of course.
