Can anyone give us some advice ??

We came out to NZ on a one year work permit (landed here last wednesday).

We are wondering how long to allow to apply for PR, how much it costs, how to go about it whilst out here, etc ...

Has anyone been in same situation as us ??

Would appreciate any info ....

You go through the same process as if you were in the UK. You need to complete an EOI, be selected from the pool of applicants and then wait for an ITA to be issued. Once you complete and submit all the documentation required for the ITA you may be granted PR.
The timescales are slightly faster in NZ (and it's cheaper), but it's exactly the same process.
