Forgive me if it's posted elsewhere but for those of you already in the pacific, Air New Zealand is having a huge one day only international fare sale at airnz.co.nz (http://www.airnz.co.nz). Book today for international flights within the month of May, and two adults fly for the price of one! Search flights using the promo code MUM2for1.
(The departing cities available are in the pacific, so I don't think it will work for those of you in the US or UK. Sorry. -- But from NZ or OZ you can go to North America or Europe for thousands less. :D)

Very busy day at work for me!!!
A few tips regarding making bookings:
- The promotional code is case sensitive so you need to put it in capitals otherwise it won't work
- If you're still experiencing problems, please PM me and I will give you the phone number for Air NZ Online Support so they can assist you. If you do want to ring the 0800 737 000 number please be patient and stay on the line, reservations have been inundated with calls.
- The sale is only for today up to midnight for travel from 1 to 31 May
- It is only for 2 adults (and no even if it's a mother's day promo you don't need to be travelling with your mom), if you want to book kids, they can be booked with the promo at an adult price if there are 2 kids travelling ;)
- Read the fare condtions very carefully because it's a very restrictive fare and can result in being very costly should you want to make changes
Happy travelling,
Jen :exit

Just to add to that you can book an infant on your ticket as well but you can't do that bit on the internet you have to phone the 737 number to add the infant & you have to have a paper ticket issued for the infant part & pay instead of infant being free (just phoned them... twice!)

This is what I had to do for our trip back in Feb. But do check the details when they send them out.
On the morning I was due to fly I spotted that they'd booked my 6 month old on the same flight as me from Auckland to Singapore, but on a different flight to me from Singapore to Heathrow!
Tempted as I was to have him travel on a separate flight, I thought I'd better phone and get it changed! :laugh
Cheers

Eek! Yes we had to do the same when we adopted our daughter - we'd booked flights already & had to add her on for Xmas trip - luckily I checked & double checked the flights & didn't have any panics - that must have been a bit stressful!!
