We've been in Wellington since the 8th and after walking into the city centre & back at least 4 times a day to meet agencies and go to the internet cafe to scour seek & trademe for jobs, we've both got jobs!!!! :raebanana :raebanana
OH had an awful interview with what seemed to be an awful person, so we went to commiserate that & celebrate mine when she got a call about a job at BNZ.
It's a huge relief, especially for me as I was starting to think I wouldn't get anything near to the job I've just left as an Assistant Accountant at the County Council back 'home'. I now work at the Ministry of Justice as a Senior Financial Accountant :raebanana and just to annoy OH, I've already had a pay rise!!!
Just need somewhere to live now :)
Good luck to all those still looking - don't give up as something will turn up.
