Has anybody else here noticed ? It doesnt seem to matter what your job description says you tend to get roped into all sorts of different work here.
one job ad though that made me chuckle and at least they were honest was for an office admin clerk part time ,needs to be flexible, prepared to do overtime good keyboard and it skills ,accounting and wages knowledge, good people skills and preferably a FORKLIFT LICENCE! The mind boggles and the minimum pay rate was advertised. For all that lot i,d want a lottery win sized wage.

Not that i,m complaining i have sort of drifted into a buying role on top of my own duties and i,m really enjoying it especially since i have been told i may need to go to a sales exhibition in Denver in september. also bit nearer to home i:nice1 may be flying to Napier in the next week or so to. Wonder if i can persuade them i need to buy in the UK hee !! Hee !!:nice1 :)

My current Job description is usless, I tried to complain that I was now doing more since the new boss started - so they said "tell us what is now different to your job description".....I thought Yes! -- dragged it out the cupboard and started to read.... this Paragraph was there...

Fully participate as a member of the team unit undertaking all duties enthusiastically and cheerfully (see I am not even supposed to be grumpy about the huge workload I have) maintaining a positive working relationship with management & other staff....and the clincher - Willingly undertake any other duties allocated giving the impression of being there to help!

and Boy do I get to do everything too - My intray is stacked 3 high now, and one pile is so big I had to take it off the tray as it was bending!

Kat:laugh

Any other duties

Well Paul, I never thought that bribery was your scene, I would have thought that you would have prefered a good reputation, a product which sells itself, as our product does, going by the amount M10 orders from us. I do know that Brett is planning to give you a factory tour...... what more could you ask for, I ask you? A new MUG!!!!!!!! What are they saying????? :laugh Surely they could have come up with something better than a 100-0 scoreline

Elaine

Oh i have just brought up Kim's 1400th post
