Well we had our leaving party yesterday. I managed to survive without crying but came very close. Although some friends of ours took Joe and Dylan for the day so we could pack our cases etc. and they're making tea for us tonight so I suspect there'll be tears at bedtime. :uhoh

The shippers arrive in the morning so I guess it'll be a strange couple of days. We've had to arrange for our belongings to go into storage for a couple of weeks as still not got result of interview which Sam had on Monday. They said it could take up to 2 weeks.

Not sure if we'll be able to get online much in the next few days as the new laptop we brought 6/7 weeks ago broke last week and is away being fixed. It'd better be back by Tuesday.

Anyway will see a few of you next Saturday at the Mascrat Manor where (fingers crossed) we'll have some good news to share. :exit

Thanks guys. Well the shippers are well and truly here. :D

Was able to get out of the way for a couple of hours as a couple of my friends from school decided to take me out for lunch. Left Sam to it with the shippers. :nice1

Can't believe how much rubbish there is - even after weeks of decluttering and runs to the tip. We have a big pile of stuff in the middle of the garage that needs to go to the tip... will have to wait until later.

Best be off now, got to go pick the boys up from school.

Hope everything goes smoothly - I know what you mean about the tip! Only 3 more days for us until we move out of our lovely home that we have nurtured and cherished for the last 11 years!:exit

We're moving the entire family including the dog into a very compact 2 bed rented apartment, so we have had to be ruthless with our stuff!

Why do we accumulate so much?
