A quick reminder, especially to newer forum members, that the NZIS Skilled Migrant Enhancements take effect from this Monday (13th December). See NZIS site for details.
In some cases any extra EOI points will be added to your EOI (selected or not yet selected, depending) automatically. In other cases you might have to be proactive and re-submit. I'd phone NZIS if you're not sure either way.
Also, I think that some parts of the Enhancements might improve your chances but won't in themselves endow you with extra points (e.g., the policy clarification about no-job-offer applicants who have an excellent potential to settle well being now allowed to be offered PR upfront). I assume that this kind of clause -- as it is an adustment of policy rather than direct points-claiming factors -- will be applied by officers to everyone's case from Monday onwards without the need for any action on the applicant's part. But again: let's all check if we're not sure (funnily enough, you may not want to take my word for any of this :laugh )
