Hi, I have been in NZ since late January 07 and really loving new lifestyle and work. Myself and OH both came over here on 3yr work visas. I had a job offer already and OH found a job within a week as a Graphics Teacher. So things are going really well so far.
I was wondering if anyone has any advice on how we would go about applying to stay and getting residency. I would rather get the ball rolling sooner rather than later and although it is early days in terms of deciding whether we are going to live here long-term, I would love to have the option to stay in NZ.

It is almost a given that you will qualify just because you have a job and a foot in the door. I would go ahead and just get going with the application process. Good luck!
