Talk about keeping up with the Joneses.
As most of you know we are having a house built which mean't renting for a year at least.
We decided to put in an offer on an apartment which we will be able to rent out after we have finished with it and it was accepted and we acepted the asking price as it was below the average price on the condition that it was fully furnished which was accepted and we were able to go out and choose all brand new furniture.There is no estate agents details but we can show you photos of an identical apartment accept that ours is cream with light maple effect kitchen cabinets.

The whole concept is done with a mediteranean feel without the leaky building effect (I Hope) We are very happy here and hope that everyone else enjoys NZ as we are

Wow! Sooooo jealous! :wah

I think that's a really good move as it will make the whole building process a lot less stressful as timelines won't be as critical and you won't have to worry about your rental agreement coming to an end before your house is built.

Incredible place, great idea to buy for the future. Your new place, when it it built, is going to have a lot to live up to, but having read your previous posts I am sure that you are the couple to manage that.
