From someone who moans that briing in the shopping to our present rented house is a long way 45 steps on a level, it seem daft we have chosen and fallen in love with one on top of a mountain/hill. should get fit though with 98 steps up. Plan to get a lift thing one day

Move in 7th June so not long, fingers crossed passports get back from Uk before. they have taken money off CC for PR visa weeke ago said it take 4 weeks so should just about get them in time.

Would send you the link but they have taken it off already. Will post pickies when I have some.

Mind you our road was on StUFF news re rain water flooding, so not sure if the house is still there now :laugh

It's probably just as well there's nearly 100 steps UP to your house then! :D

Congrats on the house though.. you know what's needed now, don't you... :yes.. PICS!

Tis a weird part of househunting here that I never anticipated - counting of the steps to your door. Now I feel better that ours is merely 67 steps...

I think of those lifts as exotic and really cool, but there are engineering firms in town that do nothing but design, build and maintain them. Congratulations!

Angel - CONGRATULATIONS!!! So exciting! Sure it'll all be fine rain-wise.

Funny thing about Welly eh all them steps?! I'm about the only person on our street that can say this (much to anyone who delivers anything here's delight!) we have only 4 steps!!

Barry - wouldn't be too envious of people with those lift things, useful & energy saving as they are - someone in Welly with one died when it catapulted them down into the road :( Since I heard that story I've been scared stiff whenever I visit a friend down in the next road & have to go on hers! - probably totally irrational but even so...)

Congrats Angel, good to see you on the move again.

Enjoy those steps, just think about muscle tone, it sure beats seeing all those sweaty bodies in a gym.

Remember to get someone else to do all the lifting when you move in.
