We have received our blue stickers - awesome but so surreal.
:raebanana :raebanana
... any suggestions for the craziness that will now ensue?

Congrats to you guys! :raebanana Will be very exciting indeed once you guys get on the plane. Best of luck to you guys getting everything sorted.

By the way, your hockey team is rubbish. :exit :-)

Congratulations - Best advice I can give you is make a list (check it twice *wink*) and then just systematically go through it. Go with the flow, and remember that when things get crazy, chances are, you're only gonna have to do it once.

celebrate first! enjoy a couple of days before the madness sets in.. there probably will be the odd hair tearing moment ahead, so enjoy the moment!

(but yes for me.. lists were definitely the way forward - First thing we did, was sort out the cat, as I'd heard some of the shippers get very booked up!)

Thanks for all the bananas and well wishes. It is so nice to be at this stage now. We went out for dinner to celebrate and had some alchohol :). Our list seems to be growing and growing.

Mark.

maheshpandit10: I think that the interview is taylored to your application. I got a lot of questions about how we will support ourselves when we arrive and what difficulties I perceive upon our arrival.

As soon as I started the EOI process, I was oh-so curious what these blue-babies looked like. In case I'm not the only one, posting a scan :yes

Good luck to you!

Now that is sad!! LOL Seriously, it is a nice surprise when you see them, unless you have been to a meet and got to cast your envious eyes on other people's passports :)

Congratulations Jenny and Mark by the way :raebanana

There was a excellent timeline thread started last week by "carolineanddave" (who are by now likely on NZ soil!). See if you can find it under thread title "Emigrating Departure Checklist".

Congrats on your stickers!! Our passports are in London right now awaiting the final seal of approval (until we go for cititzenship!).

Ooh congratulations. Just enjoy the ride. I found that having a checklist of things to do worked for me - although the list seemed to get longer as the days went on. ;)

Seriously though just go with the flow.
