Neutrogena, St Ives and Body Shop are the only brands that do not cause my hair, scalp and skin to run amuck. can i get these products in the local nz drugstore/dept. store coz if not i am planning on stocking up? thanks a lot.

I saw a mother's day promotion on TV last night where if you sign up for Sky, mom gets a St. Ives gift pack. So it must be around here somewhere...

Try pharamcies for St Ives - but it's pretty expensive compared to in Europe.

St Ives is a funny one - it's expensive in pharmacies, but it also turns up really cheap in $2 shop type places as well. I guess it is not as well known here as in Europe as a premium brand, so if it doesn't sell well in a pharmacy / Farmers type place, it'll quickly get shipped over to the knock down shops. My advice would be to keep your eyes open for it and stock up when you find it cheap. Everything in pharmacies is expensive here (no Superdrug!) as is the Body Shop (haven't bought anything there for over two years, and I used to use it a lot). Nuetrogena is available everywhere including supermarkets. Actually supermarkets are probably the cheapest source of consmetics around.

Ain't that the truth! Pharamacies here are RUBBISH!! Ooops, sorry for shouting :exit
Went into 2 local chemists the other day for 'ladies things' - selection of maybe 5 products in each shop as opposed to 50 in the supermarket .. 'with wings' .. 'without wings' .. 'free flying lesson' and MUCH cheaper.

This is great advice, I'm still using my body shop make up that I bought over in bulk over a year ago. If nothing else its one less thing to pay for in NZ$ and one less thing to source when you first arrive. I had a whole box of boots '3 for 2 offers' (including vitamins) etc in my container, they don't take up much space and it really can save you a lot of money.
