Hi everyone,
I just calculated my points and come up to 75 points with my bachelors degree in the interior designer field.
From what I understand the minimum amount of points you have to have is140. How the hell can I make up those points up.
Any suggestions?
I have no job offer yet, but I have 4 years of experience from the states.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

How many points did you claim for your work experience? I only have a diploma in Management level 4 and an nvq in engineering materials processing but i had plenty of points .cant remember how many i got for my work experience but i claimed for 15 years i think.

With your quals you should walk it easy.

HI Cardy,

I put only 4 years, but I don't know how much points I earned for that.
Should I claim more than that?
I got for everything only of 75.

Hi Swiss.

No you do not need 140 points. If you have 140 or more, you'll automatically get your EOI selected, but you can still get selected with less. The minimum, as far as I understand, is currently 100 points. That could go up or down. But i think it's been at 100 for quite some time now.

Sounds like the best bet to get more points, would be to get a job offer, but that's difficult to do unless you're physically in the country. It's certainly possible though. :yes
