Just a quick update as we're using the Motel's internet.
Well they let us past security at the airport so that's it, we're in, no going back now!
Leachio OH Dan picked us up from Auckland airport at noon yesterday (Sat 5th May). We're now firmly ensconced in the Gardena Court Motel in the middle of Hamilton. Amanda & family have just left for their rental in Rototuna.
Hamilton is nicer than we thought it would be and we seem to have brought the weather with us. Sunshine since we arrived.
Had a very quick visit to Countdown for some essentials but had to carry them back as we're not mobile yet. Arms just returning to normal length.
Priority missions for the next few days are bank account, car, internet and mobile phones. Once they're sorted the truly serious job and house hunts begin in earnest. Just planning on taking it easy in the sun for the rest of the day. :p
Will post more when the internet is more readily accessible to us.
P.S. Can highly recommend Singapore Airlines. They are a zillion times better than Quantas and British Airways. Food and service was excellent and the boys were treated like royalty.

Welcome to the Waikato guys - will catch up this week. Got the worst of it behind you now, and have to agree that Singapore Airlines are top notch.
See you soon.

Welcome to our region called the Waikato Paula. Seems as if you are taking it all in easily enough, so good luck for the next few days. At least you have Amanda looking after you for now too, so that makes things a little more comfortable as well. Might see you down this neck of the woods soon then as i'm sure Amanda will bring down to the Rosetown for a gander.

HI Paula and Sam
Time does fly, Congratulations, you made it.:clap Hope to join you some day.
OH not to good at the moment hope that does not reflect in Medicals if we ever get to that stage. HE tripped and fell into the Window at the bottom of our stairs, cut his wrist open. Had a operation, now in a pot, Friday goes for a splint. THe one arm man at the moment. Can not drive for 6 weeks and then not sure what feeling he will have in his hand. :(
Any way back to you, I hope you find a dream home. :cheers
Speak to you soon.
Angie.

Congrats on arriving!
I have a small question on something though, is your plan to just go to NZ and then find a job while you are there and use that for your Visa? I would like to do this myself as I am much more likely to find a job while onsite, please let me know.
Thanks.
