my Wife submitted her WP application to TTS NZIS Visas in Bombay...cost Rs.6300... estimated timeframe (as mentioned by the lady who did our paperwork) is 10 to 15 working days...thats a wait! no originals sent to NZIS New Delhi... passport + WP form + Employer Supp. Info + Offer Letter + Work Agreement + Qualifications(xerox) + Experience Letters(xerox)

PCC + Medicals were submitted with ITA...

Now waiting for NZIS again...

any ideas how long that takes in India?

If the papers are good then usually WP takes 2 weeks .. SMC application can take between 6-9 months.. I'm also from Mumbai.. In which field is your OH working? How did she manage to get a job offer?

shes in IT, she has 7+ yrs experience, persistantantly spamming the advertisers in seek.co.nz led to a SKYPE inteview (videoconference) , she impressed the company and ta-da!!

BTW I have completed 9 months since the application was lodged at NZIS delhi. No news yet !!

did you manage to talk to your CO? cause NZIS delhi website says SMC applications are processed with 6-9 months of submission. I believe they are really processed in that duration.

Well I didnt talk to the CO, as I have mentioned some of the posts before the CO's have changed frequently and I am little frustrated frankly ... Morever checks are being done on my application and as these are outsourced there is no timeframe to complete these.So under these circumstances I dont think I am going to get anywhere calling the CO. Hope there is light at the end of the tunnel.
