Here's an online book I thought some might find useful:

well there was only The Waihopai walk in Invercargill (this one goes past some grand new builds with views of the river) and the Foveaux track at Bluff
there are loads more - http://www.icc.govt.nz/index.cfm?0210D3CE-9E19-BDFD-326F-CEA87A046A85

The Bluff Hill walks have a few steps in them (god my legs nearly gave in first time:laugh LOL)

I have done 30mins into the Keplar Track (not mentioned in the book?) at Rainbows reach, but beware there's a wobbly bridge to cross! - we had a pram with us! and of course Jordon had a perverse sence of humor by jumping up and down on it while his nervous mum crossed it!:p

I hope that some day soon we can take a few days off and do the Keplar Track! LOL
