We need to contact EWRB to register as Electrician before sending back ITA. Has anyone done this? I am unsure as to the first step. Have been on the EWRB website but it isn't too clear

We E mailed and phoned this guy many a time when we needed to sort out Daves Electrical paperwork .

Yes indeed i have myself emailed him in past regards my registration, although as yet i havent actually started the process, looks like with 4weeks before i fly. I shall be starting the process now when i get there.
Seems a few Sparkies on here, we should start a club! :)

Although we don't have PR and are an early stage in the paperwork - my OH sent all of his qualifications and references to the ERWB and the response was very quick indeed - very helpful. Paul has mailed us back several times recently. We are just waiting for the NZQA now via 'fast-track' :roll

Hi Lisa
I think the "fast track" is working OK now. I called NZ last night and our docs with report are on the way back via courier. They left us 19 April. Just keeping fingers crossed that it is the grade we need. Also do you know how long EWRB registration takes? We need it before submitting ITA by 7 July.

Fast track is certainly the way to go, extra money but soooooo much quicker.

I was put onto him from this forum and he as been the best help yet, you didnt say in your post if you need a provisonal licence or a letter of reply for your ITA, as you can send your ITA off with a covering letter explaining what is missing and that it will follow as soon as you get it.

I did send you a PM, not sure if it got to you. I am still unsure as to exactly what London require. May have to email them. They have asked for proof of "Registration with EWRB" but it appears this can't be obtained in the UK? :confused: Only the safety course can be done from UK which may give the provisional licence? I will keep plodding on and try to find out.:roll

Belmont Babes, that is wonderful. I had not seen this post (that you found out your docs were on the way back.)
You are going to get your report back before I do because I got my docs last month without the report...they are still working on it. I need to call them today...!! But I had three unis and three jobs to verify, so I guess that is the problem with mine.
Did you get an extension on your ITA? I thought it was due in June. Either way, looks like things are falling into place. Good luck!!
