Thanks,

Hi Gil
There is an American Club in Auckland, they would likely be the best contact: americanclub@xtra.co.nz. Last year there was a black tie dinner at the Sheraton on July 3 and some enterprising folks hung the American flag from the Harbour bridge on July 4 (copying the Canadians who did it on July 1st). There was also a Canadian-US softball game in March (and I dont know who won :D ).
Also for all you Canucks out there , there is a Canada Day celebration of sorts, on July 1. I'mnot sure of the details, will post here as things get finalized, but I know it involves a quiz, so brush up on your Canadian facts!!

I prefer May 4th as I go around annoying my little lad by keep saying 'may the forth be with you.'
As you can see I don't get out much. Only when the nurses say I can
