Hi folks,
We're working our way down the PR route from the UK. One slight complication is that we lived in Sydney for 2 years from 1999-2001 so as I understand it we will need to get a police check certificate from Australia as well as the UK. I've found the Australian Federal Police website but it's not all that clear. They seem to offer 2 different certificates - name check only or name and fingerprint check. Any ideas which the NZIS require? If it's the fingerprint one do these need to be taken and certified in some way in the UK? If so, by whom - the police here?
Anyone out there got experience of this?
