Hi Guys,
Good news for us - we faxed our job offer to NZISin London and have a Case Officer who says we will receive ITA in a few days - hurray!! He says the snag might be medicals - we are leaving for NZ on 14th Feb and medicals booked for 4th Jan - I think this gives us plenty of time - been told that blood tests results come back within a week and are the longest wait but he is saying if we need to be referred??? None of us have any reason to think we might be .... EXCEPT (isn't there always one?!) I had a bit of a tussle with a piece of road and a motorbike in my youth and now have a few scars on my left leg from various ops, a slightly weak left knee which I can disguise fairly well (as you do) and no ankle joint on left leg - instead a very strong and sturdy large 6" aluminium nail which holds foot to leg - now stronger than the average ankle though not nearly as bendy :laugh !! This means that there will be no need for further ops and no arthritis in that bit of the body anyway - I don't imagine this will be a problem - does anyone have any experience of this type of thing???
