Checked our EOI status and yesterday it stated "Decision Successful" after speaking to the employment agency who got me the job I was told it could take up 6 months before I get PA.

The ITA is on its way and should receive it this week, but I am now getting concerned as I have to start my new job on 11th June.

Friends who moved to NZ in April from receiving ITA to getting PA was only 2.5 weeks and when I attended the Expo and spoke to immigration, they told me it would only take 8 weeks.

Any advice?

Once the ITA has arrived, we fill in and drive up to London to hand in, anything else I can do to speed up the process?

Every case is different. The fact that you have a job offer should speed things up, but make sure that all the paperwork is correct and you submit all the evidence.

best of luck with everything.

The other things is that once it is submitted and you have a case officer phone them regularly to check for updates.

do you have all your paperwork ready? thats the biggest thing you can do to speed it up. make sure you've got police checks, medicals, employment paperwork, qualifications (and NZQA checks if you need them) already done - they can take a while.

if you've got a job offer then it should be pretty quick provided your case is straightforward.
