So yesterday I got a note to say the ITA forms were being sent to us and I was on the phone trying to sort out police checks and medicals. Today we heard that we've had an offer on our house which only went on the market yesterday. It's a little below the asking price, but higher than we thought we'd have to settle for. I'd better get booking those flights!

Good for you. It's obviously meant to be! All the best with it all. Our house up for sale next week. After brand spanking new carpet and bathroom it looks so lovely I feel sorry to sell.

We put new carpet and 2 new double glazed panes in yesterday, and Clare has decorated bathroom and kitchen , so finger scrossed for when it goes on in a weeks time :laugh

:eek: It's getting even faster! The guy upped his offer to very close to the asking price so we've accepted! The house has been on the market less than 36 hours!!

Solicitor has been instructed to proceed as from tomorrow. The buyer knows that we want to exchange quickly but hold off on completing until we're ready to go.

Wow Martin, well done and run with it although I recall feelin like I was runnin all the time :laugh All of our 'bits' went smoothly for us, I almost expected a hitch but never got 1 (although my ship is takin 4wks longer than it should have so there's my hitch). I kinda figured it must have been fate, NZ sorta found us and all went well thereafter. Enjoy the ride cos u will get off the plane and start a whole new ride here ;)
