Hi,

Just a note to let anyone interested know that it is on BBC2 Monday and Thursday at 3.30-4.30pm and Tuesday and Wednesday at 3.35-4.35pm. I think it is the family that went to Wellington, but not quite sure.

Glenda.

Cool! I hear about all these shows on the BBC but can never see them in the US. I will be in London on Monday though so I get to see this!

if it's the one we saw before we left it does not give a real view, as they pay for your first month and help with every thing,
they dont really show much and when they do its rose tinted,
the thing that stood out the most was the home sickness,so be prepared to have a little cry with the wife,as her mother in the uk pretends to be ill and refuses to talk to her (how selfish). i think she is a nurse and cant remember what he does.
worth a watch just to see how hard it is.

It seemed to me that they went to live in the equivalent of Llandudno, a place were old(er) people tend to congregate and that wasn't helping them either.

But of course it always works out and that job offer comes in at teh elventh hour...nothing to do with the BBC and camera crew of course!!!

Still - the scenery is nice. :nice1

Synical Saturday.

he was/is a copper (and gets a bit snotty when he has to undergo the indignity of re-training for 6 weeks! ), don't get your hopes up on this one though, it's a yawnfest. they don't even have any stuff on immigration etc. as the lass has got a kiwi dad.

Have seen this one. Hubby came across and wanting it laid on a plate for him and wife was an emotional wreck due to her mothers emotional blackmail. I didnt find it very helpful, but they did move into a nice house.
