Hi folks,

Well, my flight is booked so I'll be arriving in Auckland on the 1st July. I intend to rent a serviced apartment for a couple of weeks while I sort out a rental property for when the missus and my son arrive a month or so later. I've had a look at some past threads on serviced apartments and got a few ideas, but I wondered if there were any up-to-date ideas on places to stay upon arrival?

I'll be working in Auckland CBD but anywhere within easy reach of the city centre will do.

Cheers,

Martin

Hi

We stayed in Quest apartments in the CBD for a month, we had a basic apartment but it had everything we needed. Because it was central, meant it was easy for us to get to places and sort things out.

They are also resonable priced compared to some.

Good luck

Thanks - it looks pretty reasonable.

We were looking at 2 near university: http://columbia.net.nz/ and http://columbia.net.nz/faqs_application.asp?lang=english. Both seem a bit pricey for a short stay, but better than a hotel! We're headed there at the exact same time, and chose to go with the Uni's recommendation to stay in the hostel instead. - Jen
