have heard a couple of these but not 14000.
One that I use regularly is cleaning my pans. heat the pan and add salt and a drop of oil, rub with a peice of kitchen roll. this cleans and helps seal the pan.

really good on icy pavements too, but I guess we won't really be needing to do that too much now :laugh
