Our packing has begun! :raebanana :raebanana

We've gone through all the packing questions in our minds, we've read all your experiences in the forums, and now we've begun to put our stuff in boxes.... this to the trash, that to charity, and the other thing goes to NZ. We have lots of time to get it sorted.

And then I came to my box of computer stuff.... hmmm... I don't remember reading about routers.... "Should I take it?" I asked myself.
And I searched the forum.... and there was the answer... "bring the router...". THANKS!!! for all the useful information you've put on this forum!:cheers

Depending on the firmware Nathan - but if you have one with all the settings in you will be fine.

HI, I'm Nathan's OH; hope he doesn't mind if I jump in here!!

We are planning to leave the US the third week in September (fingers crossed that blue stickers and cats are sorted by then!).

My daughters, ages 18 and 22, want a flat or small house in Welly. Nathan and I are hoping to live out in the 'boonies,' somewhere like Wanganui. We want to have a place with enough land to grow some of our own fruits and veggies. :nice1

We are willing to consider other places; we're mainly interested in the lower half of the north island for vairous reasons--weather, sun, year round temps, culture to name a few.

We plan to travel about for a while when we first arrive, though, to check out the outskirts of places like Palmerston North, Hawkes Bay, Napier, etc.

I will finish up my teaching term in less than two weeks--I'll finally be able to start helping out with the packing then. I'm so excited! :raebanana
