Hello everybody,
I was issued Work to residence visa and I am going to move to New Zealand on 21st June 2007.
I am not sure what are my chances of finding a good job. I am IT professional with 8 yrs experience in Cisco technology and project management. Morever, I am PMP certified and Cisco CCNA certified
Thanks in advance

It would depend where you intend to live in NZ? Obviously the main centres will be far easier to source employment than the more rural areas.
Look on www.seek.co.nz for job listings, and register with recruiters.

Obviously every case is different but I would suggest you wouldn't have any problem finding a job. I'm an IT project manager (though more on the applications side than infrastructure) and I had no real difficulty lining up a job when I went out for my recce trip. I'm Prince2 certified rather than PMP but PMP is more recognised in NZ.
As mentioned in threads elsewhere on this forum there are plenty of agencies, and Seek is a good place to start. I finally secured my role through RecruitIT. You might also want to approach Telecom direct via their website although I've heard that it helps to have a contact in the organisation because the bureaucracy can make applications get lost in the system for a while.
Good luck.
