Having nightmare times to try find a fire guard to fit my logburner at new house at cheaper price, not over $200!!!. Finally found it but it is wooden type not usual metal types. My question is the wooden fire guard is ok to use in front of logburner?? I got two young kids and baby on the way to think about of the safety-wise. Thanks

Wooden??? OMG

Depends I suppose, but it doesn't exactly fill you with confidence does it?

I think I'd err on the side of caution. Sure it isn't a decorative one.....

Hate to suggest it but have you tried Trade Me or the local charity/second hand shops????

I have asked her to have a look at it before buy it but wooden...hmmmm that what i was thinking :exit
