Tomorrow morning OH and I go to New Scotland Yard in London to get sets of certified fingerprints done to go with our police background check forms that we need to send to the Australian Federal Police (we lived there for 2 yrs).

We are planning to Fedex the forms out to Aus (thanks to my employers post room) to get them there asap but we also need a really quick way of getting them back. The forms say to provide a SAE but we can't really do that given that we are in the UK - not easy to get hold of Australian stamps!

Does anyone know if Fedex or any other courier company provide pre-paid envelopes that we could send? Equally if they do how do we get hold of one?

Thanks in advance everyone!
Anneliese

Can you use this page (http://www1.auspost.com.au/pac/int_letter_type.asp) to calculate the postage back to the UK and then ask the AFP if you can send them an envelope and a separate check for the postage? (I doubt you'll be able to find a prepaid envelope in the exact amount you need for the return of the Australian police report. But you could call a FedEx office and ask about it.)

If it does take longer than you have to return your ITA, you can turn everything in to NZIS and let them know this is coming. I believe NZIS will just not act on your ITA until they have all your police reports. But at least you would not be over the deadline.
