Hi All,
had a few questions about Howick in the Auckland metro area
1>Can we get a rental acco for $250
2>How is this place for families in terms of convenience and safety
3>How is the maclean primary school and how much donation they charge per year
4>How are the IT opportunities (assuming they are good being Auckland area)
Any information would be helpful.
Thanks

1. If you did find anything that cheap, it would probably be a small 2 bed place, and would more than likely have no garden to speak of. 3 beds seem to start around $400 Have a look on Trademe for some ideas http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Property/RegionListings.aspx?search=1&mcat=0350-5748-4233-&sidebar=1&132=FLAT&selected135=&selected136=&134=1&135=8&29=&122=&122=&59=&59=&sort_order=prop_default&v=
2. Very good for families, good bus routes into town and ferry access to CBD from half moon bay, also good shopping.
3. Cant help with school, but Macleans has an excellent reputation.
4. IT market seems pretty bouyant if you have good skills, when hubby recently changed jobs, he had three offers. Again, have a look at trademe or http://www.seek.co.nz/
