Hi! I'm a 23year old Girl from Switzerland near the lake of Constance. I'm a graphic Designer and still looking for a Job in Auckland. I'm leaving Switzerland on the 21st of August and I'm arriving in Auckland on the 13th of September. I'm Double Citizen of the USA and Switzerland. Maybe there are some other Swiss People around this Forum? Or Maybe some Graphic Designers, who can help me finding a Job?? That would be just GREAT:raebanana

You come from a beautiful part of the world - I have friends in Uzwil, Wil and St Gallen and one of my most abiding memories of Switzerland is watching a film on a floating screen on Lake Constance as the sun went down.

I can't help you much with Auckland as I'm a Southlander, but good luck in the job hunt. Have you looked at trade me for jobs? These are the current design adverts

Thanks for your reply!! I am actaully from St.Gallen City! My boyfriend worked in Wil for 4 years and i know some people from Uzwil! WOW! Who do you know? (I's so small, maybe I know them aswell!?) Yes, I'm cheacking trade me daily, but I don't want to apply to too many jobs, because I want to do it RIGHT when I'm there and not shoot away my chances by not beeing present for an interwiev! I'm applying to smaller Companies only right now! Do you think I should contact a recruitment agencie?

Hi Mudlae

I'm new to the forum myself. My family and I are moving over to Christchurch at the end of August, and none of us have a job yet! So, I'm thinking of trying to get some work self-employed for a while, doing web design (I used to have my own web design business). I may need some help with the graphic design if you're interested? Can't say anything for definite, as I don't know how things will go, however if I know that you could be interested in doing some work, it wouuld let me be a bit more confident about approaching people to offer a service.
