I was told that speech therapy for my son is considered a pre-exisiting condition by private insurance companies. We knew he would have to have a frenulectomy and had it done here in US before the move, but didn't realize he might need speech therapy. We didn't even think to put this down in our EOI or ITA as he was only months old at the time! The ped never made any mention of it during his check-ups. In fact, we brought it to the ped's attention when we noticed he couldn't stick out his tongue as he got older. We already have PR but would this jeapardize our visa since we didn't put this in his medical? Sounds silly but I guess I'm just stressing over this move.
