I have read in other threads that you can get broadband set up temporarily in rental property but as I will be moving with OH and 2 teenage boys at the beginning of the UK football (sorry 'soccer') season , the thought of them not getting to see a game for at least 6 months is disastrous. Almost enough for them to want to stay in the UK and join me later. Is it possible to get sky tv set up in a rental for a short period of time - 3-6 months? :confused:

A lot of rentals will already have a dish installed and so all you will have to do is open an account with Sky and pay for the box to be installed. Their web site will have a cost for that.

When you move out, you simply call them and tell them the new address (assuming you are keeping Sky) and then arrange for all that good stuff to happen again.

No big deal - you shouldn't have many problems with that aspect of the move :)
