I was just about to submit our EOI and started ticking off the boxes on the conditions etc. when I was stumped about the question re detailing all family members.
Are they asking for the details of ALL our family, including mother/father/brother/sister etc.? Or just the family that we hope to take to NZ, ie married couple + 2 children?

We only put immediate family on our EOI, i.e the people who were actually going to be moving to NZ as that was our understanding of the form. However, when we got our ITA we then included all family members, so parents and siblings were included. This apparently makes it easier for Immigration to tie in family members who may later want to emigrate and link them to you, especially if you're going down the family sponsorship route. So, I would put them all on the EOI if there is any chance at all they may later want to emigrate too. OH's sister has already made rumblings about it so we're glad we put her on.

I had a similar dilemma - 2 of my kids will be staying in the UK. I contacted NZIS and they said to list all family members - that means children and parents. There is an option to indicate which children are coming over with you. Ihave not listed brothers or sisters as there is no likelihood of them ever wanting to emmigrate. However I have not yet submitted my EOI.

One thing to note about not listing brothers and sisters etc, AFAIK if they are not listed on your EOI/ITA then they will never be allowed to apply under family sponsorship latter. I'm sure that I have read this somewhere?
I also don't think it has any bearing on your application if you list them, so would do so (you never know what the future holds).

Bit difficult if you the Swiss Family Robinson! :laugh But yes, put siblings and parents on too, obviously within reason if you from a large family, or ask to give you an idea in this case.
