Has anyone found a way to listen to Radio Five Live while in NZ?

Of course I can listen to Radio Five online but whenever a decent sports event is on all I get is a message that says "due to contract obligations this event is only broadcast in the UK". There must be a way or route to make my PC think it is Engalnd somewhere!:confused:

So far I have refused to pay into the coffers of Rupert Murdoch for his Sky Sports Channels and I am loathed to give in. Can anyone help?

If its football commentaries yr after how about visiting the home page of the football clubs involved as they often have their own commentary:clap :clap

Love it guys, I'll try it out next time something worthwhile is on.
I woke up last Sat morning hoping to listen to the Eng V Brazil game, not that it was worth listening to (apparently!)

Even better if you want to watch them on bitstream, try looking at Sopcast website - do a google search on the name - could be interesting ;)

If its footie you are after then you won't get any better streams than sopcast. I have used it on many occasions and its just like watching TV. Follow the link and download from the sopcast link.

You could try using a proxy IP address to fool the BBC server that you are in the UK

Here are two anonymous UK based IP addresses
80.168.254.170

217.37.124.69

You have to set up your internet connection to route through those

just click one of the streams and it will automatically take you to the named site for download. Try and stay away from PP Stream and TVUplayer, as they aren't very good streams.
