I've been dealing with NZQA recently and am posting a few interesting notes.
1/ Make sure they can debit your CC properly. Their system is still manual and if it goes wrong it can take a week for them to inform you, you fax the details back (the same day you are informed) and them try to re debit it again. Apparently they manually send the debits to the bank and don't get them back for 24 hours. It's like 1987 there. They won't process you application until they have debited your account so it adds extra time.
2/ They don't verify every application with universities et al also. So if you are lucky they won't verify yours and will accept your application on the details you have provided. This explains why some people's applications fly through and some drag on for months.
