What exactly did kids eat before the invention of fish fingers and chips? Captain Birdseye has a lot to answer for I reckon.

Cripes, where did that picture of my long lost uncle BK come from.

He's baldy, he's beardy, he's a bloke (one assumes) and he's clearly no stranger to a Melton Mowbray. He must be present somewhere in my family tree.

If you think that's weird, we liked the badger thing so much when I used to work for Green Flag in Leeds that on Children In Need day my mate Dan dressed up as per below photo

Dan as 'Badger Mushroom Snake' - In his right hand (hard to see here) is a mushroom he had made at home out of paper and paste and in his left is a snake draught excluder. Not many people 'got it' but we made a load for charity.

I was dressed as a giant chicken, my mate Pete was a squirrel. We had a sub-theme going of 'Charlie's Animals'. We actually spent the entire day like this - even going to meetings. You'll be pleased to know I didn't drive the car in the chicken outfit though !

Am I the only one that is wondering what is going on? Do I need to take some of those mushrooms or get myself a two year old to know what is going on?

Still, I played those vids earlier at work and got some very strange looks....:o

Believe it or not (actually you probably will now) these are easily items from the more sane end of the spectrum for publicly broadcastable images, tunes and stories of odd behaviour from the camp of BaldyNeardyness.

I won't get into the details of creating photo stories using a zebra oven glove called Mr Flibble, or offering to iron people's hair to raise cash (for beer) in Hyde Park (Leeds) on a sunny Sunday afternoon (we didn't make much). You'd just think I was odd.

I did, however, once write a song about Johnny Ball after meeting him in a car park in Nottingham. Like you do.

I've just spotted this thread and those links are so funny - fantastic!

And yes the 5year old, 3 year old and 9 month old liked them too. They have now invented a combination Badger/Mango song.

Cheers
