Between your EOI being selected and you getting your ITA does the status on the immigration site change at all?

I thought it changed from selected to decision successful but it's still at selected a month after we were drawn from the pool.

Getting really worried that we will go back in the pool :wah

We were selected the same time as you and we are still showing as selected. From what I can gather the current wait seems to be at least 6 weeks (without job offer).

Hopefully we should be hearing soon........

Cheers Red. Was beginning to wonder if there was a problem. I know my OHs old Unis have changed names etc so wondered if that was causing a problem.

Fingers crossed we hear soon.

Hey there

It took 2 and a half months for ours to change to decision successful. We were selected middle of Feb and got decision successful at the end of April (no job) . . and literally the day after I noticed that the status had changed we got our ITA pack in the post - THE VERY NEXT DAY!!! If they need more info I believe they e-mail or write to you first but if everything seems A OK with your EOI you'll just get your ITA

Good luck

We were selected on the 26. April, too, with a job offer (skills shortage) and got "decision successful" on the 6. June - that's almost six weeks WITH a job offer! Talk about patience... And we still haven't got the ITA... And our police certificates our running out in 3 weeks (we're a case of being over-organized and over-optimistic!)...

Good luck to everyone else waiting!

Seems to be a lot of people in a similar situation I would not mind but the NZ website states

"Skilled Migrant applicants with job offers
The Pool draw, which would potentially allocate your Expression of Interest (EOI) to the London branch, takes place every two weeks.

A visa officer will make an initial assessment of your Expression of Interest (EOI) within 10 working days of the Pool draw. Your visa officer will then contact you, either inviting you to apply for residence or requesting further information."

Clearly they are failing and at the very least need to amend the above. A mere 10 days over for us so far -months for others!

Alas our strategies worked off the 10 day premis - and in
point of fact the expo down in London we went to and the
immigration presentation where it was stated that skilled migrants with job offers were pushed through.

With a house buyer lined up medicals already done things are going to get very interesting. Indeed I start asking how good is NZ ? Bearing in mind all the posts on this wonderful forum; showing the positives and negatives of kiwi life.

Wishing everyone well at whatever stage they are at.........

Checked today decision succesful !:raebanana
We had claimed extra points for a verbal job offer yesterday we faxed the contract through.
Today by coincidence or.....whatever - hoping the ITA paperwork arrives quickly.
Now it starts to feel real..........
Hope others get the News soon:)

We were also selected on 26th April (140 points, SMC, no job offer) & still haven't heard anything, other than the checking you out letter. I expect to hear something by the end of this month, am I being too optimistic?
Good luck all

No harm in being optimistic - you could always drop them an email perhaps
