I misplaced my username and password to log into the NZ immigration website. I have mailed them, but gotten no response. I need to log in asap, so does anyone happen to know how I would obtain my username and password?

I assume that your account hasn't been locked, if so, the NZIS site says:

Account Locked
To preserve integrity of personal information users share with us, we have designed the site to lock an account after a user has unsuccessfully attempted to log in three times, using an incorrect User Name and/or Password.

The account will be unlocked after a period of eight hours, however you can reset your password by accessing the Forgotten Password function available from the left hand menu - see below for more detail.

But if you've forgotten your user name, you'll have to phone up, a la:

Forgotten User Name or having problems logging in?
Please phone our National Call Centre on (09) 914 4100 or 0508 55 88 55 (+64 9 914 4100 if you are outside New Zealand).

And when you call those 9 914 4100, don't press anything, just wait until it goes to an operator. (again if you're in Auckland or if u don't mind waiting from overseas phone call).

Eurgh, that happened to me, and I'd all but completed my EOI. I didn't know what to do, because I needed to finish it to submit it within 4 hours for the next pool, so I did it ALL OVER AGAIN. Bad memories.

I did the same thing. I just kept guessing at user names I could have used and claimed to have forgotten the password. It took some time and thought power but I hit lucky in the end. :uhoh
