Well not got online much yet, but here i am in Auckland and have been here for 3days now. Not really seen much of New Zealand at all, just Auckland Central Area.

Hostel life is odd but its a roof over head i suppose!
I had a look at an old campervan today (well really a van only, with a mattress in back!) so i may buy that so i can start my independant travels around NZ. Decisions, decisions..

One quick thing? What the hell is with peas and sweetcorn in sausage rolls?!!?? I bought one as i like them lots back home, and was disgusted to find veg in a sausage roll. i tell ya i nearly got back on the plane!

Speak soon

Hello and welcome to NZ. :clap

Good on ya. Shame you weren't online a bit earlier, as we had some boys' beers last night.

Not sure about the peas and sweetcorn in a sausage roll. I'll be interested to hear this one...

Don't forget to change your location now...:nice1

Lee - where did you get that sausage roll from? Just so I don't ever get one...
I hate sweetcorn, although I have to say I've never come across it in a sausage roll before.

It was from sandwich bar in Queen St Auckland, put me off buying sausage rolls anywhere in NZ now! lol

Hey Lee, i got myself a Steak and Kidney pie, which i may say is very rare in NZ down in Pio Pio, and to my utter shock found it to be laced with peas, sweetcorn and carrot. Now whats that all about:confused:

By the way welcome bud, and how did the sleeping situ go?

Eww - not that I'm a connoisseur of sausage rolls, but the ones from the bakery on K Road are pretty good.
Well they tasted great with my hangover on the way to work the other morning, and there certainly wasn't any vegetable matter in them!

Oh and sleep situation still not great tbh, manage to get 2-3hrs a night and then wakeup and stay awake, probably doesnt help living in a noisey youth hostel right now!
Will have my van soon, though not sure sleeping in a van any better either!

Ah the joys of tight budgets!

Well i have some wheels now! Ok nothing special, in fact its a bit of banger! But it goes good and should get me about NZ, and as its a converted van with a double bed in the back i can save pennies by living in it!

Finally time to get out of Auckland!
(starts humming "hit the road jack..........")
