Completing my application forms, my wife, eldest son (5 student visa) and mine are straight forward but what form should i use for my 8 month old baby?
I have been told it should be a visitors application, but this states only 12 month duration and there is nowhere on the application that requests parent details, just partner or dependant children? any ideas?
Also my eldest sons visa app asks for proof that the legal guardian provides care for him in his own country, what can we use for this? again any ideas would be really appreciated.
Will be collecting medicals tomorrow, will then be taking apps down to London to submit.

I have absolutely no idea of how to help you, but having said that, we submitted out ITA in person at NZ House in London and the immigration officer that we saw was really very kind and helpful.

Why not just ask when you get there ?

They won't make you leave your baby behind - honest !!

Don't worry - you'll sort it.

I have looked into this a little myself recently but haven't found anything other than a visitors visa or permanent residency. Just wondering why you are applying for WTR visa instead of a skilled immigrant visa...are you trying to get to NZ quicker?
My (non expert) thought would be to get the baby a visitor visa and then submit an EOI as soon as you arrive in New Zealand (assuming you have the points)...the baby can go on that application and just stay a visitor while waiting for PR.

Yes, having to move quickly, will be transferring from uk office to NZ with a start date of 01/08/07.

My approach is to attain WTR, then after 2 years assuming we are enjoying life in NZ apply for PR, have been told we have to complete 2 years before applying for PR is this correct?
