maybe a slightly dodgy question to ask but just wondering if tradespeople can get casual work (i.e. cash jobs) fairly easily and often in NZ? For example to get some money in whilst touring NZ trying to find THE place to settle and whilst looking for permanent work.

Just an innocent question :D
