[Too many dogs]

Good morning and good evening!

I have just finished applying for 50 jobs and I am exhausted! I hope at least one person replies favorably!:roll At this point in time I don't care where we live as long as we have offers of employment:D Looking for work is a tough job...especially when you're not in the country!:uhoh Our agent says it can be done, so we are giving it a go.

Anyway, I am sick and I am going to bed.

I am not sick, but I had a surgery on m right ankel last friday. So I am nailed to my bed..
I applied for more then 50 jobs already.
The answern is allways the same: I have to be in NZ for a interview, or
I am overqualified with out kiwi experience.(hmmm..)

As the agent says, it can be done but it seems to be a lot easier if you are in NZ. If you do a search on this forum you will see so many posts where people have been applying from outside of NZ with little success.

Good luck in your efforts, hope that 50 will be enough for some positve results.

Well...that heas put my job applying into perspective!! Ive only applied for about ten...and thought I was pushing the boat out at that!! Good Luck to everyone...I think we'll need it!!!!

OH received two positive replies and I have been asked to fill in an application form. Just done that. Also receiving the same response: We need you to be in NZ...

On a positive note, I did get a phonecall from a personnel agency... I take it that is a good sign. I also have e-mails from agencies that want me to contact them when we land. Anyway, I have Bronchitis and this is the first time in two days I am out of bed. Will be going back shortly! Hope everyone has a fab weekend!
