Hi All,

I passed the interview on January, face-to-face interview at London Branch and I was told that we will have WTR visas instead of PR.

We filled out the forms and sent them back to NZIS.

Today I received an email telling me that everything is ok and:
"I have assessed your Work to Residence application and I will issue 12 month open work visas into your passports tommorrow"

Can you tell me what is that 12 month open work visa? Is that WTR visa? I got confussed:((((

If I recall correctly this means you must show that you are in work in New Zealand and contributing to the economy here within 12 months, but we didn't come here on a WTR visa so apologies if that is incorrect.
