Hi Everyone

I've had plenty of help with the steps of the immigration process (so thank you for all your help everyone) ie. NZQA, then Teachers Council, then EOI, then Decision Successful, then ITA - anyway, you get the picture.

But does anyone have a list on the steps they needed to complete once they'd been accepted but before jumping on that plane.

We've just received ITA and are in the process of submitting it but my head has started to swarm with ideas and I'm in a bit of a panic about what to do first once we've actually got PR. ie should I start selling the house first or wait til we get a plane ticket and a confirmed leaving date? At what point do you ship all your stuff over, when do you find accommodation that you will stay in when you first arrive in NZ.

A step by step list would be fantastic, does anyone have a list of what I should do once we've actually been accepted. I realise everyone will have slightly different situations but right now my heads in a muddle about the hundreds of things that need doing.

This may help you out....I think sam B got it from a book on emigrating....it seems to have some really useful info.....I think you will be able to make out the main headings and you can sort of work it out from there?:yes

thanks guys - VERY useful!! Feel a bit more calm now. Time to make my own list and by the way SUPER spider diagram - might to do one myself and I'm sure it helps to have it all there up in front of you so you won't forget anything.

I can't seem to see or work out how to see the spidergrams and flowcharts. What do I have to click on or press? We're in the same boat as Tentun at the moment so would appreciate the wisdom of those who have gone before too.

Feel proud that people are using my spider diagram. It was so huge that even J was galvanised into action by it from time to time...
