Hi All,

My all important NZQA assessment is on it's way back to me now.
Getting it done fast track was worth it, they did it within 10 days.

The package is on it's way to me in the post hopefully they'll email me the results as I requested they do that also.

congrats on a quick response.
usually they do not e mail the response so don't hold your breathe. one advantage is that your letter will be sent back along with your docs so should come by courier

Arrgghhh I don't believe it!!
My evaluator emailed me last night:

Unfortunately our business support person was mistaken, your assessment
has not been completed and your documents have not yet been sent back.
Your qualification was selected for verification which means we need to
contact your institution to authentic your documents. This process is
solely carried out between NZQA and your institution. After we receive
the information from your institution regarding your qualification, then
we can issue your assessment. We cannot give your assessment result by
phone or email.

Hopefully your institution will be quick in their response. Its one of those times when you just need to wait and hope.

When the nzqa contacted OH's uni, they sent it on a public holiday and didn't get a response. We asked them to send again, they did and got a reponse in a day.

Didi they send it via email? My Uni were pretty quick sending back my transcript to me (2 weeks).

Speckythecky, how did you know when NZQA contacted you Uni? And is your 'case officier' the person who emails you? Who did you ask to 'send again'?

I've had a couple of emails asking for more details (as my Polytechnic couldn't supply the transcript and I'd sent the syllabus instead), and my documents have been returned, so now just waiting. But obvioulsy wondering whether NZQA's request for verification is just sitting un-noticed somewhere.

Have you heard from T.C. yet and any luck with jobs?

We had regular contact with a couple of people from the nzqa, the first was Peter who was a supervisor and allegedly helped but our application in the pile to be looked at after they had had it for 6 weeks.
The second was called Paul Sorensen who was our case officer. We contacted the main desk and were put through to him the first time but hten used his number from the letter sent with our documents when they were returned.
We found them both very friendly and helpful on the phone. It probably helped that Peter used to play football in Warrington, so we had something to chat about.
