I just had my phone interview. It was pretty straightforward and the case officer asked the questions from the list that has been posted on this forum in the past. My ITA was received by the London office around April 10th, so if you sent in your ITA around that time you should be getting an email from your case officer soon.

They didn't ask any questions or ask for any additional employment history documentation. I didn't have any letters from past employers or customers, but did have a thick stack of paystubs and other documents from all my past employers and customers, and they seemed to be happy with that. So if anyone else is stressing about proving your work history at companies that don't exist any more, if you have paystubs and the tax documents the companies sent you, you should be all right.

By the way, the immigration website did NOT show any status changes after showing that they got my ITA back in April. So, if you are checking the site hoping to see a status like "Case Officer Assigned" or something like that, don't bother. Nothing will change on your account until you get approved or denied I assume.

I think the blue stickers are within spitting distance.

I'm hoping you're right, it's been almost a year since our EOI was submitted. I sent my ITA before you and just found out that we got through medicals review and the Visa Officer was reviewing the paperwork. My gut says another month or two before we find out. :(

Here are the two pages I have seen on this newsgroup:

They should give you an idea of what they are looking for. If you don't have a job offer I assume they want to be sure you are not a nut-case, and they also want to be sure you have thought about the move and are not setting yourself up to fail.

Here are the exact questions my immigration officer asked, but I know from other lists on the forum that they can vary slightly (a search of "interview questions" will pull up relevant posts):

Basic who are you questions to prove identity (middle name, mother's maiden name).

Why did we choose NZ?
What kind and to what extent of research have we done on NZ?
What other places, if any, have we considered before choosing NZ?
What concerns do I have about settling there (any barriers we anticipate)?
What areas are we considering for settlement, or are we going to just check everything out and then decide?
Have I ever moved away from my hometown before?
What are my plans regarding a job?
What if I can't find a job in my field?
Do I plan to get a job before coming to NZ or wait till I get there?
What barriers do I antipate regarding getting a job?
(same questions were asked about my OH--his current job, same or different job in NZ? other skills he has, oldest daughter's career prospects, youngest daughter's uni plans)
Financially, how do we plan to live--buy house, rent, pay utilities?
How will my family successfully integrate into the community where we settle?
Do we have relatives/friends in NZ?
Have you ever visited NZ? when, how long, why?

Ok...that's about it!

I just tried again by clicking in them and they worked fine.
Try cutting and pasting them into your browser's address bar.
You might have some setting that is preventing a redirected
