Hi there, I have been reading the posts re the cost of medication for diabetics. We are moving to Hamilton at the end of July from SA. I have been a type 1 diabetic for 6 years and have been on the pump for two years. The idea of going back to injecting is just not an option as I get much better control with the pump. Has anyone had experience with the health system and the pump? Has it been easy? And what is the cost implication of getting consumables, etc.?
