We (my son, husband and I) are moving to Christchurch in July. We are trying to find a hotel that we can live in until we find more permanent residence. We're looking for something that is not too pricy, good for children and has kitchen facilities. Can anyone recommend some place?
We are also looking to rent a car for the first week or so. Can someone recommend a good place to rent from...that is a good deal?

We stayed at www.ashleighcourtmotel.co.nz a family motel and they are very helpful that we have become friends with sue and steve:nice1 . Also they have 2 rental car on their site that you can borrow at cheap price! Just let them know you want car so they can booked it with your place.
